šTHE GIFT:
The āinspiration in a box" Gift
Last January, my 6-year-old son had his eye on a $30 Buzz Lightyear doll. Just coming off the holidays, I wasnāt going to buy him another toy, but I reminded him of the ābusiness in a boxā he received for Christmas. This particular box by BeesoĀ teaches kids entrepreneurship by providing all they need to set up and run a greeting card business. After a father-son bonding experience getting the business set up, he ended up selling $40 worth of Valentines Day cards to friends and family. We even walked through a multiplication exercise together to figured out how many cards he needed to sell to meet his goal. A few days later, we went to the store and he proudly purchased Buzz.
